Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte is healthy and set to play in Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys barring a setback, NFL Network contributor and Fox Sports Insider Jay Glazer reported.
Forte is telling teammates he will be active and ready to go, according to Glazer.
The Bears will work out Forte before the game and determine his playing time depending on how much pain he can handle, a source who has spoken with Forte told NFL.com and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Forte missed a Week 3 win over the St. Louis Rams with a knee injury.
